An initiative of Gather My Crew…

How it works

Find My Crew will safely and securely link vulnerable people needing help with people from their neighbourhood who are willing and able to provide help.

With funding from the Victorian State Government and support from our partner organisations, local groups will be able to register a ‘community support crew’ to be mobilised to provide support within their neighbourhood.

Mindful of needing to be COVID-safe, we will be starting with the provision of food, garden maintenance and social connection.

Launching through three Local Government Areas in Victoria later this year, we hope to expand this offer throughout 2021.

Key Players

Via trusted referral partners, vulnerable people are linked to registered ‘community support crews’.

Community support crews are set up by a ‘crew lead’ and are full of wonderful ‘crew members’ who are ready to help local people in need.

Find My Crew (via Gather My Crew) coordinates all of the essential safety elements such as ‘police checks’, policies and procedures, codes of conduct, training and support, insurance and governance.

Our platform is a safe and secure way to engage with your community, provide support to those who need it and meet other like-minded people.

What’s next?

The Find My Crew platform is currently in development. We are due to launch in November 2020 in three Local Government Areas in Victoria.
