About Us
Why we exist
We’re on a mission to make helping and caring simple – so every Australian can lend a hand and our most vulnerable can access the support they need.
Our vision is for an Australia where everyone is surrounded by a ‘support crew’ during tough times – a circle of family, friends, neighbours, and community members who come together to provide the right support and care.
We call it – ‘coordinated informal care’.
Why now
As Australia faces growing challenges in addressing the support needs of its ageing population, people with disabilities, those with chronic conditions, and communities recovering from disaster, our work has never been more essential.
The gaps in our current health and community care systems are widening, and Gather My Crew is determined to help fill them by enabling everyday Australians to step up and look after each other.
We want to normalise this type of community-led, informal care so that it becomes a natural part of Australian life.
Making change
To date, Gather My Crew has empowered over 60,000 Australians to provide care during life’s toughest moments through our free, purpose-built technology.
These amazing individuals have contributed over 300,000 hours of support, valued at more than $15 million in replacement care.
And we are only just beginning…
